The Funnel Bar approached us to assist in creating new visual identity assets that would both stand out and remain consistent with their beloved brand. Our objective was to craft assets that felt and looked edible while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. Their package encompassed a menu for A-Frames and handheld prints, along with business cards for their two food trucks and owner, Travis.
The Funnel Bar’s desserts are insanely delicious so we sought to prominently feature enticing photos of their products across all materials. Understanding that people eat with their eyes first, we prioritized having this mouth watering imagery. After several iterations, we opted to incorporate masked dessert photos to add life and interaction within the designs instead of borders and photos with distracting backgrounds. Utilizing high-quality photos greatly enhances graphic design; we consistently encourage our clients to invest in fresh imagery.
Each dessert, whether a funnel cake, milkshake, or specialty item, boasts a unique name and logo. For their newly introduced products, such as the "Drank in my Cup" and "Monkey Business" milkshakes, which are featured on their menu, we assisted in crafting distinctive logos.
Upon completion of the design process and approval of the final images, we moved on to the final stage: printing. The Business Cards were printed on vibrant Velvet Laminated 16pt card stock, with spot gloss applied to areas intended to shine and stand out. The A-Frame Menu was printed at 24x36 inches on durable 3mm PVC, designed to withstand the elements and ensure longevity.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
